Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions Review

NOTE: I reviewed the Nintendo 3DS handheld a few days ago, and I said it was way overpriced. Just today, it was announced that Nintendo would be cutting the price way down from $250 to $170, probably in hopes to raise sales.

Introduction
Are you a fan of Pac-Man, or Galaga? Are you a fan of 3D? Are you a fan of Pac-Man Championship Edition, Galaga Legions or sidescrolling platformers? Why am I asking this? Because I am reviewing a complication of games, some new and some old, but they all involve those two arcade classics. The game also comes with some achievements for each game included and a trailer for some stupid new TV show I don't care about. So, is it any good?

Some Great Games For The iPhone/iPod Part 3

There is no doubt that the iOS is a great handheld gaming device. There are lots of games out there for it, but... which ones are the best? This is what this series is all about, so hang on tight and let's download some games! (Some games are free and some are not.)

Nintendo 3DS Review

Introduction
I know this review is a few months late, but since the 3DS's sales were not amazing, maybe some of you reading this haven't bought it yet. Hopefully... Eh, whatever. I am bored. The 3DS is Nintendo's latest handheld gaming console, that can play games in 3D, although you can switch the 3D effect off. There is the ability to play some augmented-reality games too, and there are some other features like making Miis as well but it is fairly similar to the DSi for the most part. It has an eShop, where you can download games, some are old, some are new. So, is it any good? You may already know.

Catherine Review

Introduction
Today I review a sexy scary and weird puzzle platformer, Catherine. Catherine is a very hard game to describe, but I will try. In the game, you play as Vincent Brooks, a man trying to juggle his life around Katherine (his girlfriend) and Catherine (a mysterious young beauty). In the day, he tries to talk with Catherine and Katherine and hanging around the Stray Sheep Bar. At night, he gets stuck in a platformerish nightmare and he must get out alive. Yep, I have no idea how to describe this game. There is some moral choices thrown in as well, and there is also some multiplayer. So, is the game any good?

Call of Juarez: The Cartel Review

Introduction
Today I will review another FPS game, Call of Juarez: The Cartel. This game is part of a series of western type games, but this game is set in the present, in modern day Los Angeles as you take on a role as law enforcement agents. Lame. This game isn't set in the Wild West. This is set in the current West! Oh, and there is a few multiplayer modes in there as well including one where you can play 3-player cooperative play. At least there is no motion controls...

What Do Kids Learn From Video Games?

I am working on a review right now, so while you guys wait, enjoy this little article I threw together quickly. I have been thinking, and I believe kids may indeed learn from video games. Here are my reasons in no particular order. If you have a non-gaming parent nearby, show them. They may learn a thing or two from this.

Some Great Games For The iPhone/iPod Part 2

Okay, I am back from my vacation a little early, so I thought I would post a list of some more games for the iPhone and iPod that I recommend. I will warn you ahead of time that not all are free, but there may be "Lite" versions of these games. Ready? Okay, here we go.

Some Great Games For The iPhone/iPod

Hi, people of the Internet! I am feeling lazy today, (and I am kind of sick too) so I thought I would post something simple. Since I do not usually review iPhone/iPod games, so I thought I would just list some that I would recommend. Some of the games are free and some are not. Every game listed works on both the iPhone and iPod. (By the way, I am going on vacation later today, so I will not post on Saturday. I will be back on Monday.)

UFC Personal Trainer: The Ultimate Fitness System Review

Introduction
There is not much to say about this as an intro. It is meant as an exercise tool, and you either use the Wii Remote, the Kinect or Playstation Move to work up your upper body strength. If you don't like that kind of thing, this will not make you like it. That is basically all I can say. Why am I reviewing something that sounds so boring? For you fine folks at home. So, is it any good?

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon Review

Introduction
Are you guys into those old "B" movies? You know, the ones that are usually really hokey, and usually feature things like alien invasions, giant bugs and Godzilla? Cause if you do, you might like this game. Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a class based, slightly openworld arcade style shooter in which you save the world from an army of rampaging giant bugs. There are lots of modes, including singleplayer, co-op, survival and more. You can also drive vehicles. So, is it any good?

Top 5 Worst Video Games Of All Time

Geez! I still have yet to review a new game. Pathetic. I know. But I have a special treat for you. I think this is also important for you to know. So you won't go buying them, I am about to list the top 5 worst video games of all time. I hope you do not own any of these, because you would never be able to sell them.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Review

Introduction
When the first version of this game came out a year or two ago, I never reviewed it (this blog didn't exist back then.) I was never a big fan of fighting games, but I decided to review this one. If you played the original, you know the drill. It is a 2D fighting game with lots of characters to fight with. This version has more characters, and according to the website, "better" gameplay, but I would not know because I never played the original. So is it any good?

The Death Of Let's Plays (And More)

The U.S. Congress has proposed a new bill making pretty much everything on YouTube illegal. If a product is copyrighted and you show part of it on YouTube, (or the rest of the Internet) you are committing a crime. This bill is called S.978. What does this mean for gamers? Well, it means the end of Let's Plays, video walkthroughs, gameplay videos, machinima, E3 coverage, the Angry Video Game Nerd show and more.

Cars 2: The Video Game Review

Introduction
Okay, I admit it right now. I played the Cars 2 game. I saw the original movie by Disney and Pixar. It was okay. I have not seen the new movie yet, and probably never will, but I have played the game. And I am reviewing it right now. I am warning you now, before you shut me out because I am reviewing a game meant for children based on a movie license, and I may actually like it. Don't say I never warned you. Cars 2: The Video Game is a racing game loosely based on the new movie of the same name, and it is full of zany and fun characters. It is quite an original racing game. So, is it any good?
