Some Great Games For The iPhone/iPod

Hi, people of the Internet! I am feeling lazy today, (and I am kind of sick too) so I thought I would post something simple. Since I do not usually review iPhone/iPod games, so I thought I would just list some that I would recommend. Some of the games are free and some are not. Every game listed works on both the iPhone and iPod. (By the way, I am going on vacation later today, so I will not post on Saturday. I will be back on Monday.)

Jellycar - A fun physics platformer centered around a car exploring a jelly world.

Space Deadbeef - Do not be turned of by the very unfitting name... this is one of the best space shooters in the App Store.

Angry Birds - You knew this was coming... Angry Birds is a physics puzzle game where you try to destroy various structures by slingshoting birds at them.

Tetris - The classic line removing, block rotating puzzle game is on iPhone and it is awesome.

Wolfenstein 3D Classic - The FPS that started it all works wonderfully on iPhone and you can spend lots of time with it as all 60 something levels are in here.

Robot Wants Kitty - A beautiful metroid-vania maze platformer in which a robot tries to find a kitty.

Eternal Legacy - For fans of JRPGs, this game is a must. This game has a cool story, and some of the best graphics I have ever seen on iPhone.

Game Dev Story - A fun and addictive tycoon game where you play as the manager of a video game development studio.

Frotz - While this may not be for everyone, some of you are bound to like it. With this, you can play hundreds of old text adventures (really old text only adventure games) on the iPhone.

PapiStep - A very simple but addictive platformer arcade game in which you try to get a smiley faced ball up the most platforms as you can.

I have not mentioned all the great iPhone/iPod games (there are a lot!), so I may have to turn this into a series. See you on Monday!
