A Great Day For Gaming

I am taking another review break to talk about a fairly recent development that changed the tides of the gaming industry. What one? Read on to find out.

The Supreme Court Shatters The New Laws: Just a couple days ago, the Supreme Court decided that, even though some video games can be pretty gory, they can still be sold to minors because video games are protected by the First Amendment - freedom of speech. The court also seemed to protect the video games industry, saying that "Video games express ideas the same ways as TV, books and movies do" and that "even through all the scientific studies with games and the effects on children, there is still no great proof that the behavior it causes is aggressive." This is great news, and it might have a bit of an effect on video game controversy in the future.

Games like Okami prove video games can be art if they try.
