Wii Play: Motion Review

Introduction
Today I am reviewing a "party" game, but lets just say there was no chips and dip. (Once you are done pretending to laugh at my stupid pun I will continue...) Okay. Wii Play: Motion is a collection of minigames that are bundled with the Wii Motion Plus (which is a scam!) You play the 12 minigames dressed as cartoons (er, I mean Miis.) There is not only singleplayer modes, but multiplayer modes. So, is it as good as it sounds?

The Review
No, this game is highly mediocre. The game is charming and full of family fun. At least that is on their side. This game also has more depth than the first Wii Play with a few more minigames and gameplay options. Playing with Miis is entertaining, as you can try to make the ugliest Mii you can and watch him dance around.

The game is full of charm.
This is where the game quickly goes downhill. The controls in this game are broken and bad. Some minigames play well, but most don't, which is kind of ironic considering that this game was designed to show off the awesomeness of the Wii Motion Plus. The minigames also wear thin very quickly. This is common with almost all party games: play them a couple times and you never want to play them again. That is how I feel about this one.
Just like in Wii Sports, watching your creepy creations play games is cool.
Highlights
The Good: The game is charming and full of family fun, has more depth than the first Wii Play and playing with Miis is entertaining.

The Bad: The controls are just bad, and the minigames wear thin very quickly.

The Result: I give it 2.5 out of 5.
