4.) The games must be released around the time of the movie, so they are usually rushed. It usually takes a year or two at least to make a normal game, but they have less than a year for it to be done.
3.) The developers who make the games do not have much creative freedom because it has to be based on events of the movie.
2.) The game may suck as well if the movie sucked.
1.) Some movies just shouldn't have a game based on them in the first place. Did you ever dream of having a shooter based on the Care Bears? Neither did I.
