Child Of Eden Review

Introduction
I must admit that I never knew much about Child Of Eden till now, maybe because it didn't look all that hardcore, but the moment you say that, you are making a mistake. At first I thought it was a DLC for Fallout 3. It's actually simple shooter very similar to Rez, filled with beauty and exploding with music. Let`s just say it is quite a unique game, and you can not only use the original Xbox 360 controller but Kinect as well(FUCK!) Is it any good?

The Review
The game looks great. The explosions of colors and beauty makes for a relaxing experience. It also sounds just as good. The sound effects are cool, and the music, relaxing. This truly is chicken soup for the gamer`s soul. One of the greatest parts of the game however, is just how unique it is. It has that magical feel of indie games, even though it isn`t one.

The game is filled with beauty.
One of the main problems is that the Kinect controls are not always intuitive. You probably heard me explain why I don`t like them before, and that still applies now, even though this is probably the best Kinect game to come out so far. The other main problem is how short it is. It only takes about an hour and a half to beat, but there is a pretty big replay value, so it may stretch beyond that.

It is an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Highlights The Good: The game looks and sounds great and it is unique.

The Bad: Kinect controls are not always intuitive and it is too short.

The Result: I give it 4 out of 5.
