The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Review

Introduction
The latest in the line of Western RPG games is here. All the games in the Witcher series are based on a series of books written by Andrzej Sapkowski. You play as Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter (also a womanizer), and you are considered one of the best "Witchers". While the first Witcher game was great, it's sequel improves upon the last one in almost every way.

The Review
This game is probably the best game that has come out since Portal 2. The game is filled with consequences for a large portion of your actions. It may not be Mass Effect type stuff, but it works well. The combat is almost always fun, and it feels satisfying. The game also has lots of memorable moments, ones that your remember because you are excited and the game draws you in so well. The graphics are beautiful as well, and the game's grim tone only helps to make them even more beautiful. The story is also great and involving, with it's themes of lost memories and political allegiances.

There will be lots of action here...
The game is not without it's flaws though. The ending is a let down, and it is kind of dumb, but I will not spoil it here. The game also has some bugs too. Nothing game breaking but they are an annoyance. The only other problem I can think of is that some boss fights in this game are hard. Very hard. Very, very hard.

This game inproves upon the last in almost every way.
Highlights
The Good: There are lots of consequences for your actions, mostly fun combat, lots of memorable moments, great graphics and a great story.

The Bad: The ending is dumb, there are some bugs and some fights are just cruel.

The Result: I give it 4.5 out of 5.
